Earlier this week, CHAIR salons director, Casey, was invited along to an award winners event with GHD ambassador, Adam Reed, in the London academy. After fighting for 3 years to win the ITLIST Visionary award, Casey put together a collection that was inspired by Leigh Bowery and Alexander McQueen. He then created a video entry which finally saw him win the industry accolade (both the video and collection of images can be found in the PORTFOLIO section).
The day was filled with hearing about Adam's experiences, demonstrating some insanely cool hair styles and one on one advice and inspiration with the legend himself! Organised by Creative Head magazine, Casey, along with 3 other winners, got to get hands on with 2 insanely beautiful models for an impromptu "Insta-Shoot", creating as many looks as they could within a few hours.
"It was a day ill never forget! It was too cool to be surrounded by likeminded people, get one on one experience with an industry legend as well as getting stuck in with creating some awesome looks with GHD tools! TAKE ME BACK!!!"
After winning ITLIST Visionary 2017 in September '17 for his collection, Defiance, Our head hun is already planning his next creative project.... So keep your fabulous eyes peeled....
