So there i am, on my way to work, having a pretty standard day, and i get an email from Wales online.. An email saying that i have been named as 1 of 35 TOP businessmen in Wales!!!

This is truly something that i didn't think would happen within the first year of us being open at CHAIR salons, but i'm so glad that people are noticing that we're trying to make a difference on how we approach gender issues as well as proudly supporting the LGBTQ+ community!

It goes without saying that all we want to do is make ANYONE feel welcome!

Here is a little piece from the article online:

Meet the top young business and professional men in Wales in 2018.

The young men on this list come from a variety of backgrounds, work in an array of industries and represent almost every corner of the country.

Paul Rowland, Editor-in-chief, Media Wales, said: "The WalesOnline 35 under 35 is a great platform to showcase the rising stars in the Welsh economy, across the private, public, education and third sectors.

"Since its launch in 2014 many of those who have made the lists, for both men and women, have gone on to achieve even greater success."

WalesOnline and Western Mail business editor Sion Barry added: "For any economy to thrive it needs a constant stream of young talent coming through, to drive innovation and ambitious across a wide range of sectors.

"And I have no doubt that this year's WalesOnline 35 Under 35 will again highlight that the future is very bright for Wales plc."

Casey Coleman, 31, opened Wales' first-ever gender-neutral salon, and is now campaigning for safer ways for skin testing throughout salons across the country. He has travelled the world educating for a hair brand, given inspirational talks in London to industry peers as well as gone back to Gower college to put on a showcase for the Welsh hairdressing industry.

Cardiff Pride has also asked Casey to be the first-ever salon to set up a pop-up salon at 2018 Pride. He is also offering 15 free haircuts to the trans community.
